I have written four published books, most recently Peter Pan's First XI about a very literary cricket team captained by J. M. Barrie and also featuring Arthur Conan Doyle, A. A. Milne, P. G. Wodehouse and Jerome K. Jerome.

I wrote the story of one of the most famous children’s hospitals in the world – The remarkable story of Great Ormond Street Hospital.

I co-wrote Grand Designs Abroad with television presenter Kevin McCloud, which accompanied the Channel 4 TV series.

And I’ve also co-written Earthships: building a zero carbon future for homes with Mischa Hewitt.
